These are just some of the challenges beng addressed by the ALI Transportation Task Force.

Action Long Island's Energy & Environment Task Force Presents: "Power" on Long Island with Robert Catell, AERTC Chairman, and Richard Kessel, NYPA President and C.E.O. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25 Long Islanders find themselves at an energy opportunity crossroad. Many different stars have aligned that could take us into a brighter future. LI’s own, Richard Kessel is now in charge of the New York Power Authority, and is considering many power options. From purchasing the National Grid generating capacity, looking at LIPA’s transmission and distribution system, bringing us lower cost upstate hydro, and also windmills.
